Wednesdays at One - Professional Development Series
Introducing Wednesdays at One: Professional Development webinars for all employment, education and training staff. The webinar series are designed in consultation with our network, facilitated by community subject matter experts, and are offered under three distinct themes to provide current and relevant information, resources, tools, and supports that employment professionals can use to assist job seekers and employers.
The three themes featured in the webinar series are: ‘what is working?’, ‘engaging employers’ and, ‘bite sized LMI’. The ‘what is working?’ theme looks at relevant, current, and readily available resources to assist employment professionals. The ‘engaging employers’ theme convenes job developers to network and exchange ideas to better understand, navigate, and access the myriad of assistance available to strengthen the relationship between the business community and the employment services sector. Finally, the ‘bite-sized LMI’ theme examines current labor market trends and distills the context in which employment professionals assist job seekers with career planning decisions.
