The JDN welcomes opportunities to partner with other Ontario communities to provide with a stronger understanding for how a “Collaborative Approach” to job development can work and be implemented within their context.

We offer a one-day workshop prepared by Employment Sector Council (ESC), and funded by the Government of Ontario, which explores how job development service delivery can be executed more effectively through collaboration rather than competition. This workshop takes take participants through the evidence-based research and theory for implementing a collaborative approach, provides an overview of some of the lessons learned and challenges overcome, and introduces a number of tangible tools and resources that may assist your community as it considers introducing this approach to meeting the needs of employers and job seekers throughout your region.

Target audience: Employment service professionals, including Decision Makers and Job Developers from service provider organizations.
